Introduction:
Farmers International is involved in sourcing for flowers for clients in Europe, Asia and other countries around the world. Farmers International sources for top quality flowers from selected farms in Kenya and other East African countries ensuring best bargain in prices and also ensuring only top quality flowers that meet our customer requirements are sourced and supplied. Farmers International also plans for all logistics necessary to ensure that sourced product is transported from the farms while observing strict cold chain controls through storage of product in cold stores set at 2 to 4 degrees celcius, flowers are transported in insulated and or refrigerated trucks to the airport. Once flowers are delivered to the airport, they are stored in cold rooms set at 2 to 4 degrees awaiting palletization and subsequent shipping.
At Farmers International we ensure we get the cheapest, most direct and efficient freight forwarders to handle our customers’ flowers. We have a personalised approach in dealing with our agents such that our shipments are normally given priority.
