Established in 1942 in Korea, NEXEN Tire has produced the first automobile tires in 1956 and was also the first domestic company to developed 60-Series V-shaped rotation tires. Since then, we have been producing top quality tires based on the Know-how and technological knowledge accumulated for last 70 years.
We have steadily continued our growth while making some landmark achievements in Korean tire industry. In 2000, our company name was changed from “Woosung Tire” to “NEXEN Tire” in order to revamp our corporate image. Since then we have produced more remarkable growth and achievements. The domestic market share in the passenger car sector is over 25% at present which used to be a mere 8% becoming global leading company with over 250 dealers throughout 130 countries.
