ASH-J Engineering Works was previously operated as
A.Saleem Welders. The business commenced operation in
the year 1983 by Mr. Abdul Saleem. Their core aim had
always been to service the Petroleum companies in Fiji
and the Pacific Islands in different areas like service
stations, terminals and depots, trucks and residence. Back
then the company had two major clients,
BP Oil (SWP) Ltd
Shell Fiji Ltd
Public Works Department
During this time the company employed about twenty five
employees. In 2006 when Mr. Saleem took retirement,
ASH-J Engineering Works took charge with all its assets
and staff. Within two years of its operation ASH-J has
managed to increase clients such as
Total Fiji Ltd (previously known as Shell Fiji Ltd)
Mobil Oil
BlueScope Lysaght
Rob Stone
Carpenters Fiji Ltd
Currently ASH-J Engineering Works employ a total of thirty
nine full time workers that includes qualified welders,
licenses fitters in electrical and mechanical, construction
workers, plumbers, abrasive blas
