WOODIMPEX LTD –woodworking company has the main office located in Poti - at Black Sea coast, where the land and sea transportation is highly well-suited, is one of the largest integrated enterprise in Georgia, there are also a branch which is located - in Tkibuli’s district, where processes cutting of chestnut wood and recreating of it by planting new tree. Our company signed a contract with Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, in consequence of that was acquired a license for Chestnut (Botanical name –Castánea Sativa, Family of Beech, Density: 600 - 720 kg / mc, Hardness: Medium).
The whole quantity of chestnut wood resources forecasted to be more than 600 000 mc. The monthly-output of all products has reached to 1 200 cubic meters.
