Hangzhou Qiantang River Electric Group Co., Ltd. (Abbr: QRE) is adjacent to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Founded in May 1976, QRE is a state-level key high-tech enterprise and one of the top ten transformer enterprises in China. Its products have been awarded as “Chinese Famous Brand” product. Its leading products include power transformers with rating up to 400kV, distribution transformers, dry-type transformers, intelligent mobile substations, underground transformers and high/low voltage switch equipment. The Group has set up 12 wholly owned subsidiaries and majority-owned subsidiaries in China and sales companies in India and Canada. QRE holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 certificates. Serials of its products listed as follows have obtained certificates/test reports issued by KEMA, Netherlands.
QRE’s transformers have been exported to over 22 countries like India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea; Italy, Germany, Northern Ireland, Belarus, Iceland, Turkey; Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal, South Africa, Congo; Peru, etc.
