| Rock-a-Thigh Baby |
Rock-a-Thigh Babyâ„¢ (launched on January 1, 2010) was created back in October 2007, by Jennifer, a mom of four young daughters. (A fifth daughter, Joelle, Jordan's identical twin sister, passed away at 6 months in-utero due to complications related to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, or TTTS.) It was during one chilly Wisconsin spring evening in 2007 that Jen recognized the need for a sock that gives full leg coverage and stays up and stays on little feet and legs.
Jen took her youngest daughter (at the time) out for a walk while wearing her in a baby carrier. Noticing that the exposed parts of her daughter's legs (between the pant leg and sock) were cold, Jen went home to dress her little girl warmer.
Not wanting to hassle with taking off all the layers of clothing her daughter was wearing to bother putting on a pair of cumbersome tights, Jen improvised by quickly snipping the legs off a pair of yarn tights and using rubber bands to keep them up.
