We are the sole marketing agent for Korean manufacturer of the home air conditioners with aluminium condensers. Most, if not all, air conditioners – portable or high wall type, have copper type condensers. We on the other hand have aluminium condensers. There’s nothing new in aluminium-type condensers but to date, no manufacturer have condensers with this metal. Reason; they have not resolve the problem in the welding and joinery. Here's a quick comparison between copper and aluminium air con condensers:
- Aluminium is far cheaper than copper, thus reducing material cost of overall unit.
- Aluminium is lighter, thus reducing the overall weight of the air con unit.
- Corrosion rate of aluminium is very low as compared to other metals, thus prolonging lifespan of the air con unit.
