Andreae Filters was established in 1963 by Erhard Andreae of Switzerland who invented the accordian style, pleated, paper filter for spray booth exhaust systems. The unique design of his invention causes paint laden airflow (overspray) to suffer several radical changes in direction. As a result, particles (heavier than air) follow tangent trajectories to the airflow and settle out in holding pockets outside of the airstream, leaving the exhausted air virtually free of overspray. This working principle, separation by inertia, sets the Andreae Filter apart from all others on the market.
In 1984, his son, Robert Andreae, took over the company and pursued product refinement and diversification, as well as international development. His efforts led to the creation of the Andreae High Efficiency Filter (HE) and world recognition for the Andreae Standard.
In 1991, Andreae Filters, Inc. (AFINC) was established in the USA to service North and South America. We are regularly Selling: andreae standard filter, andreae high efficiency filter, andreae floor paper. |
