Most of the customers are re sellers in wholesale. They do not want to pay for the sugar until BUY and SELL then get the money from the final buyer to settle the seller like LOTUS. They will expect seller finance for the whole DEAL. We have realised this and support in an alternative method. Rather than using the LC method use 3 month or One year BG, the sample provided. When you send the BG by MT760 to our Bank that means we are safe for supply to the customer, then our bank will give us credit to pay the refinery. We will send you the sugar you will sell it and pay us by TT. This method is equivalent to Usance LC's. This will give both party security and less expense for these type deals. Customers can fully discuss with their bankers. If you are happy you can use this method.
