We have great pleasure to introduce ourselves as the first private sector automatic mini steel plant in India to manufacture TMT Rebars through MECTHERM (Rapid Water Quenching System & Self-Tempering) process consulted and engineered by MECON LIMITED (A Govt. of India Enterprise) who has also supplied their Mactherm Technology to IISCo. Ltd. (A unit of SAIL) and Southern Iron & Steel Co. Ltd.. Meanwhile Mecon Limited is also being appointed project consultant for Tata Metaliks long product upcoming plant at Kharagpur (West Bengal) and Durgapur Steel Plant’s expansion plan. Even group like Arcelor-Mittal is taking assistance from Mecon Limited.
In our mini steel plant at, Durgapur, West Bengal, we are producing both basic and special steel for domestic construction, engineering, power, railway, automotive and defense sectors and for sale in export market. We manufacture TMT Rebars under the brand name of “SHIVAM SURAKSHA” with the production capacity of 100 thousand tones per annum.
