I am a hobbyist that cuts caboclons from stones that I collect locally or purchase from around the world. I recently looked for some rough rock from the Phillipines to make a gift for a very special fillipino lady friend but could find nothing for sale. It also seems that jewelry from the Phillipines made with native cabochons is not available
I feel there is a business opportunity for anyone willing to try cutting some native Phillipine material so I would like to obtain some rock samples from the Phillipinea to try and cut to see what it looks like. I am certain there is a lot of undiscovered cutting material in the Phllipines as it would be unusual if fhere was not
