Founder and CEO Andrea Wissing left her native country of Brazil after falling in love with the man who is now her husband. She and her daughter, Paloma, moved to Plano, TX to start their lives in America. She was convinced that she would continue her career as a lawyer.
Upon searching for a wax studio to get her routine Brazilian wax, Andrea was remiss to find no such place existed in the area. It was at this moment that Andrea decided to reunite with the skill which financed her law school – waxing. She flew back to Brazil in search of chemist and dermatologist to create a special, hard wax unique made from a secret Brazilian ingredient. Once she returned to Plano, she hit the ground running to open what is now a town favorite among women and men alike location opened on– Depil Brazil Waxing Studio.
